A set of two Brutalist wall sconces, 'Chartres' model C-1649 designed by Willem van Oyen for Raak in the 1960s. Named after the stained glass windows of the famous cathedral of Chartres, France. Eye-catching design, combining beautifully shaped coloured and clear pieces of molten glass on a reinforced frame. The sculptural finish of the glass creates a unique style, especially when lit. It allows light to shine through brightly, giving the whole piece a unique appearance. Every piece is handmade and unique. Dimensions: h x w x d = 24 x 26 x 12 cm. Material: glass and lacquered metal.
New wiring, works with E27 bulbs.
