Product Details

Original workshop stool (height 65 cm) by Robert Wagner, from the Rowac factory in Chemnitz, ca. 1930. Rowac stools are iconic, timeless and sought after by Bauhaus and Art Deco enthusiasts. Increasingly rare and difficult to find.

This stool has the Rowac mark on all three legs, making it more rare than the more common models where the mark is only visible under the seat. The black cast iron base is indestructible, very robust and the ultimate Bauhaus design.

Condition is very good, it's sturdy and ready for the next 100 years of intensive use. Great patina on the cast iron tripod base. The seat has been lightly restored, has a beautifully smooth finish
