An original 1930s open bookcase in a modernist, minimalist design. Based on similar designs, the cabinet is likely to have been manufactured by the dutch furniture maker L.O.V. Oosterbeek. The design is very reminiscent of the Dutch interior designer, furniture designer and interior designer Frits Spanjaard (1889 - 1978).
As illustrated in the photos, the cabinet looks beautiful in a classic or eclectic interior and combines well with modernist and art deco objects. Ideal to use as a display cabinet or bookcase. The condition is very good and sturdy, with minimal signs of use. The space between the shelves is 22 cm, the top shelf has an extra 6 cm.
