A midcentury 1970s adjustable table lamp by Florian Schulz (1946-2019). Everything is made out of nickel plated steel, which gives it a bauhaus appearance. The stem is adjustable and it can heighten up to 70 cm. The lamp has been rewired and is in excellent condition with minimal wear. Works with one E27 lightbulb. The shade can come off. Table lor desk lamp with a particularly sleek and functional design by Florian Schulz. Made entirely of nickel plated metal. Dating around 1975. The lamp can be adjusted in height by turning the wheel on the shaft and moving the stem. The electric cord moves along. The design of the lampshade has a beautiful refection of light that reflect the colours in the close environment.
The lamp is in very good condition, no dents, minor signs of wear in the metal. The lightwitch works perfectly. The lamp and socket are original 1970s. The cord and plug have been replaced.
About Florian Schulz:
As the youngest son, Florian Schulz (1946-2019) was trained as a metalworker in his parents' workshop.
In 1973 he took over a lighting factory. In the early years he supplied lighting for commercial construction projects such as the Stuttgart State Opera and the iconic Breuninger fashion store.
He later focused on interior lighting and developed a whole series of iconic lamps. Characteristic for the timeless designs combined with modern technology. Later, these lamps were produced by a select team of professional craftsmen the Ludwigsburg factory. Over the years, Florian Schulz has built up a diverse collection that is still collected today.
