A 1950s loungechair with a wooden frame and its orignal handbraided rope seat and back. In good and original condition. A timeless and eye catching design iconic chair. Very sought after by interior designers.
This chair is attributed to Adrien Audoux and Frida Minet who designed rustic style furniture using simple accessible materials during the 1940s to 1960s. They created a wide range of products and designs including chairs, mirrors, lighting, picture frames and tables, all with their trademark use of rope and braided hemp.
