Product Details
An Art Deco period side table, console table or pedestal table from France, crafted around 1920. The piece is made from solid oak and has oak veneer on top. It's quite a heavy and very sturdy table. It could also be used as a center table in a large hallway to place a heavy plantpot or flowervase on. The table is very heavy and sturdy, perfectly stable. The surface has been cleaned and hard-waxed. There is some wear in the veneer on top and a small old veneer repair in the middle. Visible in the pictures of the top.
Executed in solid oak, the piece displays a warm, even patina and remains in good nearly original condition, with only minimal wear consistent with age.
Both sculptural and functional, this pedestal lends height and grace to any interior, whether classic, Art Deco, or modern eclectic.
