An elegant Bauhaus typist desk with metal drawers, a solid wooden top and a tubular steel frame. Estimated to have been manufactured around 1950. The desk is modestly sized but very suitable to use as workstation for a laptop. Ideal for styling a loft or apartment as well, adding a Bauhaus accent to a space. Also combines very well with Art Deco furniture and art.
The desk is in good vintage state, has some wear and bits of chrome missing at the back of the metal frame. From the front it is in very good vintage condition with small signs of wear.
The desk has one small metal drawer and beneath that a larger one with a metal folders system for filing papers/keeping the typewriter paper.
The chair and the lamp are also availabe (see other listing for the lamp). The chair is 1960s, in very good condition. Won't be listed separately but can be added to the purchase (is incuded in the price).
