Product Details
Very decorative 1930s Dutch bauhaus table with elegant metal decorations on the tablelegs, and a (glass) yellow top. The unusual colour in combination wwith the silver accents gives it a very fresh and clean appearance.. The modest size makes it an ideal piece to use as a special accent in a room. Combines well with minimalist bauhaus furniture, but can also be placed in a more classic or even a vintage interior.
The table is light, but very stable and sturdy. There are some small signs of age and use.
Bauhaus style is known for its emphasis on functionality, simplicity, and clean lines. This side table perfectly reflects the principles.
Bauhaus design often features simple geometric shapes such as squares, rectangles, circles, and straight lines. The focus is on functionality and form.
Some iconic designers associated with the Bauhaus movement include Marcel Breuer, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Walter Gropius.
