A very decorative occasional table or plant stand from Art Deco era, ca. 1920. Most probably designed by P.E.L. Izeren for De Genneper Molen. Modernist/Amsterdam School style. It's an eye catching little table with pointed tablelegs and on all sides stretchers/slats in macassar ebony. This table has no attribution marks but is depicted in an old catalogue from De Genneper Molen as no. 286, see last picture. The piece is made of solid stained walnut and macassar ebony.
Rather heavy in weight despite its small size: 47 cm height, 35 x 35 cm top.
