Product Details
A charming and unusually shaped Dutch Art Deco accent table from the 1920s, modest in size yet full of character.
Executed in solid oak, the table combines a simple circular top with a particularly interesting geometric base. Four broad vertical supports meet at the centre, their stepped outlines creating a distinctive silhouette.
At floor level, four horizontal feet project outward in a cross-shaped arrangement, each resting on a rectangular black-stained wooden block. These contrasting dark accents lend the design a pleasing sense of balance.
The table has a distinctly Dutch Art Deco character, with its restrained ornamentation, carefully considered proportions and emphasis on construction as a decorative feature.
Its modest dimensions make it a versatile accent piece, suitable as a small side table, lamp table or display stand, in both contemporary or more traditional interiors.
The table has been expertly restored and refinished and is in excellent condition.
