A stylish Amsterdam School stool in solid oak with vintage leather upholstery. These stools were manufactured in the early 1920s for the luxury wallpaper and paint shops Rath & Doodeheefve (see on last 2 pictures). Famous Amsterdam School architect Piet Kramer was appointed as the interior designer for these shops. For this reason the design of this stool has been attributed to Kramer. Manufactured by company Randoe Haarlem.

The stool can be used as a seat, a footstool or a poof. It is very well made, heavy and in very good condition considering age and use.
