Dutch art deco modernist/Haagse School side table or coffee table, ca 1925. Rare design. Very well made from solid oak and coromandel details. On the tabletop a checkered pattern with inlay of oak veneer and coromandel veneer. The base is symmetrically divided into 4 compartments and there are 6 shelves in total (2 times 2 and 2 times 1 shelve) This piece looks different from each angle, as illustrated with the pictures. Made from solid oak it is very heavy and very stable. Condition is good with small signs of use considering its 100 years of age.
