A rare 1920s Dutch Art Deco side table with a stylish modernist design, which makes it a nice accent piece in an out of the box interior. Made from stained walnut, macassar ebony feet and macassar around the tabletop. The table is in very good professionally restored condition. It has a very nice shine which gives it a luxurious appearance.
The style of the table can be classified as Modernist or The Hague School (Haagse School). Tables like these are rare and very sought after by collectors of the Dutch modernist styles from the 1920s. It combines very well with more modern pieces as well as with antiques. The Dutch modernists were greatly influenced by American modernist architects like Frank Lloyd Wright, which is clearly visible in this piece. Pictures taken in different types of natural light and angles.
