A lovely proportioned small Haagse School 1920s nightstand/cupboard by famous Dutch interior designer Cor Alons. It's executed in solid high quality oak, has a blackened panel on the door and an oversized door knob (where the early work of Alons is known for).
The cupboard dates from around 1925 when Cor Alons and Frits Spanjaard had teamed up as one interior architecture company, following Haagse School principles. They were greatly inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.'
