Elegant Dutch Art Deco occasional table or coffee table, 1930s, in solid oak, a top with a geometric pattern in oak veneer and a macassar square. Stylish design with a modernist twist.
The style is Amsterdam School with some Haagse School influences.
Considering its age, this table is in good condition. The tablelegs are made from solid wood and are in very good condition. The table is very stable and straight. There are some signs of aging which you can only see close up; small signs of wear but the surface is smooth and well nourished. The macassar ebony rim has some old restorations but is well secured.
