A lovely small planttable or pedestal, very recognizably Amsterdamse School period, ca. 1925. The paintwork has similarities to designs by Jan van Zeeland. The table has the original paint which adds to the character of the piece. The paint on the top has been lightly restored

Amsterdam School architects designed a lot of exteriors and interiors in Amsterdam, but the style spreaded further all around the Netherlands. The Hague has its own variant, called The Hague School.
