Large Amsterdam School floorlamp and uplighter by Karl Gellings, ca. 1935. An unusual and rare design. The lamp comes from a private collection and was custom made for the family it was owned by. It's a large piece made from wrought iron and had glass panels that are secured within the iron frame. It's in good condition with small signs of wear. The surface of the lampbase has evenly patinated.
The last picture is an archive picture of a lamp very similar to this one, also by Gellings.
