A Dutch art deco floor lamp made from wood carved oak, ca.1920. The base has a special scalloped design and there are black lacquered details around the stem, characteristic for Amsterdam School Art Deco design. The lamp dates from ca. 1920-1930. The silk lampshade is not the original one, but it is a vintage one and suits the lamp very well. Electrical wiring has been renewed (post 1980s) and is in good working order.
Works with a large E27 bulb and has a European plug. The base has a diameter of 20 cm, the lampshade has a a diameter of 45 cm.
