An original 1930s modestly sized Bauhaus revolving bookcase in wood and tubular steel with modernist details in design. It is quite heavy, made of layered wood. Not for large books, but more for pocket sized books or magazines. The bookcase revolves and is sturdy.
The piece is lightly restored (professionally) with respect for the original character. Close up one can still see subtle signs of the actual age. It's a great modern looking item from the 30s. A very rare find and a great piece for the Bauhaus enthusiast/collector. Great styling item or accent in a modestly sized space, next to sofa or chair.
