The famous Hendrik Methorst Amsterdamse School fringed copper desk lamp! A bit of an oddity. The design is said to have been inspired by the carnivorous plant. Looking into the shapes of carnivorous plants, one could imagine that it was indeed inspired by the so called ''Venus Flytrap'' (last picture).
The design of the lamp is documented in the reference work ''Living in the Amsterdam School'' (author: Ingeborg de Roode). See on last picture
